(Avoca, IA) — The AHSTW Vikings wrap up their conference schedule tonight against Tri-Center after winning five of their last six games.
The winning spree starting in Tabor where the Vikings had a 17-5 statement non-conference victory over the Fremont-Mills Knights. AHSTW would go on to beat Missouri Valley, then visited IKM-Manning in a double-header where they would sweep the Wolves. After a loss to the Treynor Cardinals on Monday, Vikings would get back in the win column against Riverside on Tuesday. Head Coach Trey Brix says the last week has been a blur for the team:
The recent winning spell puts AHSTW at a positive record of 11-9. Brix says the team has seen improvement all-around this year:
Tri-Center is visiting the Vikings tonight, a team that AHSTW narrowly escaped in a slugfest 17-16 win earlier this month. Brix credits ace Cael Witt, who the Vikings are expecting to face tonight, as well as their speedy offense:
