(Atlantic) Atlantic’s high-powered offense and dominant performance in the circle from Brynn Lamp led the Trojans to a 10-0 victory in four innings over Shenandoah.
Atlantic wasted little time taking control, scoring two runs in the first inning before breaking the game open with a five-run second. The Trojans added one more run in the third and capped the scoring with two runs in the fourth to finish with 10 runs on 14 hits.

Lamp was nearly untouchable in the circle, tossing four shutout innings while allowing just two hits. She struck out eight batters, walked three, and hit one batter in earning the win, and the Atlantic offense produced hits throughout the lineup. Lila Wiederstein powered the attack by going 2-for-3 and launching a home run.
Makenna Schroeder stayed perfect at the plate, finishing 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. London Kirchhoff also went 3-for-3, including a double and two RBIs.
Jillian Saathoff reached base in all three plate appearances, going 2-for-2 with a walk and scoring a run. Zoey Kirchhoff added a 2-for-3 performance and drove in a run.
Claire Schroder delivered one of the biggest hits of the game, ripping a triple and scoring a run before collecting the game-ending walk-off RBI. Dylin Ball was also flawless at the plate, going 2-for-2 while crossing the plate twice.
Atlantic’s 14-hit attack overwhelmed Shenandoah, which managed just two hits in the contest. The Trojans committed one error defensively, while Shenandoah was charged with two errors.
The Trojans are 18-0 in the Hawkeye Ten Conference and wrap up league play on Thursday with a doubleheader at Red Oak.
