Teen Killed in Harrison County Accident

(Harrison Co.) A teen was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Harrison County Thursday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 9:08 a.m. The 15-year-old, from Woodbine, was driving a 2010 Ford F150 north on Tama Trail at a high rate of speed through the intersection with 194th Street/F32. The pickup struck the embankment north of the intersection.

The teen died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
