(Atlantic) The Atlantic Elks Club is hosting a Flag Day ceremony with a meal and more on Sunday, June 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Atlantic City Park.
Atlantic Elks Club representative Kyle Quist notes that the Atlantic Elks Club hosts a Flag Day celebration each year.
Quist says the celebration will kick off with a meal served by the KIWANIS at 5:30 p.m. The meal is free for Veterans and active-duty military, with one guest each. The Public is also invited to join the meal for a free-will offering. Quist says the program will start at 6:15 p.m.
Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the official American flag by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.
Again, that is Atlantic Elks Representative Kyle Quist.
