The Bulldogs are 0-4 but three of their games have come against the best three teams in the WIC — Tri Center, Treynor and Underwood. The other game is a 3-2 loss to Audubon. Head Coach Alex Oliver has had to use numerous arms on the mound and the results have been less than desired — a team ERA of 13.26 but Oliver believes it can only get better from here
Alfonso has been a bright spot for the Bulldogs with a 3.15 ERA in his two starts and is hitting .286. Oliver says the Junior is setting an example for the team
Missouri Valley is 1-5 — they have a team ERA of 5.90 with Sophomore Draeson Allen the best at 2.21. Junior Jack Handlos (.429) and Sophomore Noah Cox (.409, 1 HR, 7 RBI) are the best hitters. Oliver knows the Big Reds will play with a lot of pride
