(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday morning approved four secondary road construction projects and approved a real estate agreement for Highland Annex office space for Resilient Recoveries.
Montgomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna says this is an 8×12-square-foot space, and the lease agreement is for $100.00 per month from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027.
The board also approved Agreement 26-3 with Hungry Canyons for reimbursement of 80% of the grade control costs associated with replacing a culvert pipe (SC2104) on N Avenue south of 250th Street, totaling $54,558.
Supervisors also approved Agreement 26-4 with Hungry Canyons for reimbursement of 80% of the cost of a culvert outlet grade control structure at an existing concrete culvert (WE1906.5) on Aspen Avenue south of 250th Street, totaling $91,644, along with Agreement 26-5 for reimbursement of 80% of the cost of a culvert outlet grade control structure at an existing pipe culvert (WE1808.5) on Aspen Avenue north of 250th Street, totaling $64,652.
In addition, the board approved the Iowa Department of Transportation Federal Aid Funding Agreement for a County Highway Bridge Program project involving a bridge on 210th Street, west of Boxelder (GA3301), with total funding of $1.5 million.
