(Ames, IA) — Sophomore Cornerback Seth Johnson is another newcomer who will see a lot of time on the field for Iowa St. football this fall. Johnson is making the jump from FCS Montana St. — last season with the Bobcats he started 6 games on a team that won the national championship. He says he can play on the outside or in the slot CB spot
Johnson has added 15 pounds from last year which he says will help his game
Senior Jaheim Singletary — a transfer from Arkansas and Junior Keyon Washington — a transfer from Bowling Green — are projected to be the starting cornerbacks but Johnson will see plenty of time on the field against some pass happy Big 12 teams
Iowa St. opens their football season on September 5 against Southeast Missouri, coverage all season long on KSOM.
