4:45 p.m. – 3 N Villisca, Thunderstorm wind gusts of 64 MPH measured by the IA DOT Mesonet station.
4:51 p.m. – Stanton, Public reports hail up to the size of quarters (1.00 inch).
5:15 p.m. – Red Oak, Public reports quarter-size hail (1.00 inch).
5:16 p.m. – 1 WSW Red Oak, Emergency manager reports golf-ball-size hail (1.75 inches) southwest of Red Oak.

The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for southeastern Montgomery County. Between two and four inches of rain had fallen.
