(Pottawattamie Co.) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors approved authorizing the Board Chair sign an agreement with the Iowa Department of Transportation for replacing a bridge on Highway 6 just east of 350th Street, west of Oakland.
County Engineer Andy Wicks explained that the DOT has several projects planned in Pottawattamie County this year.
The Supervisors also approved the updated Secondary Roads Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management Plan.
In addition, the Board approved signing a proclamation designating the week of April 12–18, 2026, as Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.
The Supervisors also passed a resolution authorizing the Chairman to sign an interlocal agreement between the County and the City of Council Bluffs regarding the 2026 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant Program award.
