(Area) A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 10:00 this evening to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday for Audubon, Guthrie, Cass, Adair, Adams, Union, Harrison, Shelby, Pottawattamie, Mills and Montgomery counties
The National Weather Service says wet snow is expected to develop overnight, with total accumulations ranging from 2 to 4 inches. Some localized areas could see as much as 6 inches.
Officials warn that roads may become slick, particularly during the overnight hours and into the morning commute. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution while traveling.
