(Atlantic) KSOM/KS95 Sports continues its postseason recap of the Atlantic wrestling season. Head Coach Tim Duff highlights three juniors who played a crucial role in the team’s success: D’Artagnan Hansen, Braxton Hass, and Donovan Hedrington.
Coach Duff notes that D’Artagnan Hansen, a three-year letterwinner, served as a versatile fill-in this season, competing at 132, 138, and 144 pounds.
Junior Braxton Hass wrapped up an outstanding season at 120 pounds. A three-year letterwinner and two-time state qualifier, Hass finished with a 47-15 record, tying senior Aiden Smith for the most wins on the team.
Donovan Hedrington delivered a strong 44-16 record at 190 pounds. He recorded 27 pins—the second-highest on the team—and enters his senior year with an 81-39 career record.
Coach Duff emphasizes that these three wrestlers will take on key leadership roles next season.
Part four of our series will highlight a deep sophomore class of wrestlers.
