(Boone, IA) – The Iowa High School Athletic Association has officially announced that they will provide free video streams of the quarterfinal games that will take place this Wednesday, May 29th.
The live video streams will be available on all four playing fields of the 16 quarterfinal games. You can click HERE to go to the IHSAA’s YouTube page to watch those games on Wednesday. The semifinal and final games will be broadcast on the Iowa High School Sports Network via cable or its paid video livestream. You also may be able to find the finals broadcast on one of your local broadcasting channels. Check local listings for more details of that information.
Currently, the IHSAA is still in a legal battle to litigate a media rights dispute with the IHSSN. The IHSAA is looking to bring free broadcasts of all high school boy’s sports, but the Iowa High School Sports Network is currently creating a paywall for fans to watch their favorite local teams. You can find more information about that from an article we posted in November by clicking here.
