Mass of Christian Burial for 97 year old Marie Blum of Harlan will be Friday, April 19th at 11am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The church will host a Catholic Daughter’s Rosary on Thursday, April 18th at 4pm with visitation also being held from 4 to 7pm at the church.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Gaul of Harlan, IA, Steve (Marcia) Blum of Omaha, NE, Phil (Janet) Blum of Earling, IA, Jeff (Judi) Blum of Ames, IA, Pat (Denise) Blum of Freeport, IL; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Sondag of Portsmouth, IA; daughter-in-law, Betty Blum of Ankeny, IA; sister-in-law, Mary Heese of Earling, IA; other relatives and friends.
