(Iowa City, IA) – With inclement weather in the State of Iowa, multiple events from high school basketball to wrestling to swimming have been impacted. That goes further to the collegiate games as Iowa released a statement for their men’s game tonight against Nebraska.
Staff will not be in the parking lot tonight for the game due to the weather. Typically, multiple staff members are on hand helping assist with parking and directions, and they will not be out tonight. The shuttles will not be available and parking will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. The University has been clearing ice and snow from the sidewalks all day in preparation for the game tonight. Iowa University advises those who are traveling to Carver to be cautious regardless of the gameday preparations and to be advised on updated weather conditions.
The game is still scheduled for an opening tipoff at 8:30 p.m.
