(Massena) The S.W.A.T. girls wrestling team has expectations for the 2023-2024 wrestling season. The team comprises student-athletes from CAM, Atlantic, and Nodaway Valley.
Head Coach Tiffany South says during a preseason meeting, she went around the room and asked some of the newcomers why they decided to come out. She says teammates’ encouragement and the atmosphere was the standard answer.
Coach South emphasizes that every athlete wrestles their style.
The team returns a lot of experience.
Practice started one week ago, and open the season at the Ridge View Tournament on November 19.
