(Iowa City) The 17-year-old son of Iowa basketball head coach Fran McCaffery will pay a one thousand dollar fine and lose his driver’s license for six months. Jack McCaffery was found guilty of failing to yield to a pedestrian, hitting National Guardsman Corey Hite in May. He died from his injuries two weeks after the crash. Hite was posthumously promoted to Master Sergeant.
