
(Iowa City, IA) – The Iowa Hawkeyes won in Big Ten action over Michigan State yesterday after their week four loss to #4 Penn State. Iowa may have come out of the game with a win, but McNamara left the game with an injury as Deacon Hill took over the passing duties.
Leading in the game for Michigan State was Noah Kim as he passed 25-44 for 193 total yards. Leading in the rushing game was Nate Carter with 20 carries for 110 yards while Kim rushed for 35 yards on six carries. Montorie Foster Jr. had eight carries for 79 yards and Maliq Carr had six carries for 43 yards.
For the Hawkeyes was Deacon Hill led in the passing game as he went 11-27 for 115 yards and had one touchdown. Erick All had four receptions for 67 yards and one touchdown while Diante Vines had three receptions for 35 yards. Leshon Williams rushed for 42 yards on 12 carries while Kamari Moulton had nine carries for 25 yards in the game.
This win over Michigan State is the 15th for Iowa in the series as the Hawkeyes are now 15-10-1 over the Spartans. Iowa will take on Purdue at home this Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
