(Marshalltown) A four-year-old boy is ok after being hit by a Marshalltown Police vehicle. The accident happened Saturday evening near Woodbury Street and North 12th Avenue in Marshalltown. Police say Officer David Danielson was on a routine patrol of the area when his vehicle hit the boy. The four-year-old was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor right foot and lower leg injuries. They say he’ll be released from the hospital later this week.
