(Cass Co.) Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken provided an update on current projects to the Cass County Board of Supervisors Tuesday morning.
Wolken said a box culvert project will begin Wednesday on Buck Creek Road at Dayton Road. The project could take up to six weeks to complete.
He also said crews are working on a bridge in the northwest corner of Marne.
Wolken said they are also working on patching in various areas throughout the county.
In other business, the Supervisors approved a 28E Cooperative Agreement for a Fiscal Year 2026 Competitive Highway Bridge Program (CHBP) Grant Project, as well as a resolution supporting the joint CHBP Grant Agreement and Letter of Support for the project.
The board also approved the appointment of Gary Riesgaard to the Cass County Veterans Affairs Commission. His term began July 1, 2026, and will end June 30, 2028.
The Supervisors also approved allowing and disallowing military, homestead, homestead 65, and disabled veteran tax credits and exemptions, as recommended by Cass County Assessor Shana Platt.
