(Atlantic) On Saturday, the Atlantic High School and Middle School Archery teams won team titles at the Diagonal Bullseye Tournament.
Connor Johnson topped the field of 47 shooters in the boy’s division with a 287, Hank Roberts finished third with a 280, Tyrell Williams finished fourth with a 278, and Matthew Roland finished eighth with 272.
In the girl’s division, Lily Johnson finished runner-up with a 281, and Halle Copeland was third with a 279.

The Atlantic Middle School shooters won the tourney with a 3223. Henry Roland shot 285 and won the boy’s title. Grant Petty, coming off a career-high 293 on Friday night against Valley, finished third overall with a 284, and Callan Kluever finished in sixth place with a 275.
In the girl’s division, Lily Wilrich finished runner-up with a 274, Rylan Martin third with a 272, and Paislee Klever finished ninth overall, shooting a 264.

Prince of Paris 3D Dual at Valley
Valley edged Atlantic 1643 to 1613 on Friday night in the Prince of Paris 3D Tournament at Valley. In the High School Boys division, Hank Roberts was fourth with a 275, Connor Johnson also shot 275 and placed fifth, Hunter Quist earned a top ten finish with a 259, and Braden Wood was tenth with a 257.
In the High School Girl’s division, Mariah Hadley topped the field with a 276, Halle Copeland was second with a 266, and Madeline Blake was third with a 264. Miraylie Stuart finished seventh with a 255, and Kaylee Stetzel was ninth with a 251.
The Atlantic Middle School downed Valley, 1626 to 1491. Grant Petty shot the high score in all divisions with 293. Jacoby Wood finished second with a 273, Henry Roland third with a 274, Callan Klever sixth, 263, Rayden Wheeler, seventh, 261, Wyatt Hoover, eighth, 258, Michael Hocamp ninth, 255, and Zane Welch tenth with a 250.
In the girls’ division, Lily Wilrich was first with 264, Rylan Martin was third with 255, Jaquie Fruend, fourth, 244, Gabrielle Engler was fifth, 243, Paislee Klever, sixth 243, Alyson Dreager seventh, 236, and Talia Hoover, ninth, 224.
