(Sidney) An Oregon man faces charges following a single-vehicle accident in Fremont County.
Authorities say the accident happened at 1:05 a.m. on Saturday near Highway 2 and 195th Street. The driver, 54-year-old Jay Tyler Medford of Medford, Oregon, escaped injury in the accident.
The 2016 Cadillac XTS failed to negotiate the lane change in the construction zone and struck a cement barricade.
Officers executed a probable cause search and found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities cited Tyler for Failure to Maintain Control and No Valid License and arrested him for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officials released him after he posted the $1,300 bond.
In a separate incident, Fremont County Deputies investigated a single-vehicle rollover accident Saturday evening at 2878 240th Street. The 16-year-old male driver of the Ford F150 pickup escaped injury. Officers cited the teen for failure to maintain control and careless driving.
