(Atlantic) Senator Chuck Grassley appearing at a town hall meeting at Henningsen Construction in Atlantic on Wednesday afternoon, fielded questions from company employees and the public on various topics. One of the pressing issues is the Russian – Ukraine conflict.
In 1931 and 1932, Grassley says Stalin murdered millions or starved the wealthy Ukrainian farmers to death.
Grassley says the Ukrainians make go through it again.
The Senator feels the Biden Administration is handling the issue appropriately.
Grassley says the conflict has already affected the U.S., particularly with the gas price. The Senator is unsure how much more it will affect the United States.
Wall Street’s losses mounted Wednesday as world leaders waited to see if President Putin ordered troops deeper into Ukraine.
