(Atlantic) The Friends of the Atlantic Libraries’ fall biannual book sale starts this week. Greg Williams, Friends of the Atlantic Library, says the sale starts Wednesday, October 21, and runs through the 22nd and 23rd.
Williams says this is a great way to recycle books instead of throwing them in the trash.
Williams says hard-back novels can be purchased for as low as $2.00. Williams says the library will hold a bag sale on Friday. He says people can fill a grocery bag with books for $5.00.
Sale proceeds help fund library improvements and the library’s annual “Shred Day” event.
