(Sac Co.) A 16-year-old female was killed in a SUV vs Semi accident in Sac County this morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the 16-year-old female from Auburn, Iowa, was driving a 2011 Buick Enclave eastbound on Highway 175, coming out of Auburn, and crossed the center line for an unknown reason into the westbound lane of travel. 50-year-old Matthew Lynn Dorscher, of Cumberland, Iowa, was driving a 2001 Peterbilt Conventional 379 westbound on Highway 175 and attempted to avoid the collision by braking and driving on the north shoulder.
The vehicles collided head-on.
