Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer says his ball club is hitting the ball and trending in the right direction. Brummer says the Trojans will face a solid Huskie pitching staff. Jake Porter is 3-2 on the hill with an ERA of 1.19, TCU recruit Justin Hackett is 3-2, with an ERA of 1.96, and Will Heithoff is 7-2 with an ERA of 2.2
Winterset is hitting .293 as a team, with 187 runs in 30 games, 39 doubles, seven triples, and six home runs. Hackett leads the team at the plate with a .476 batting average, and Forgy is hitting .436.
The Trojans are batting .286 as a team, with 32 doubles, two triples, eight home runs, and five players batting over .300. Bodie Johnson leads the team with (.338) batting average, Garrett McLaren (.337), Grant Sturm (.321), Colin Mullenix (.306), and Gunner Kirchhoff is hitting .300.
