(Des Moines) The National Weather Service in Des Moines issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Harrison, Shelby, Audubon, Pottawattamie, Cass, Montgomery, Adams, Taylor, Mills, Page, and Fremont Counties until 5:00 a.m.
Thunderstorms are moving through the area this morning, and a second round could develop by late afternoon and evening, with the potential to be strong to severe with large hail, strong winds, and a few tornadoes.
