(Red Oak) A Mills County man is in custody on theft charges in Montgomery County.
Red Oak Police arrested 40-year old John Robert Washburn of Hastings on Monday for 3rd-degree theft and 5th-degree theft charges.
Police say the charges stem from an investigation of a theft in the 1600 block of N. Broadway Street in Red Oak.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Red Oak Police Department with the arrest.
Washburn is being held on a $2,000 bond.
