(Creston) Creston Police arrested one person for assault and another in a separate case for theft.
On Wednesday, Police arrested 29-year old Leopoldo Adan Avalos McGeorge at his residence. McGeorge was charged with Domestic Assault. Officers transported him to the Union County Jail. McGeorge posted bond and was released.
Police arrested 37-year old Amanda Olivia Jones of Creston on Wednesday for 5th-degree theft. Jones was cited and released on a promise to appear.
Creston Police also received a report of vandalism at 402 Wyoming Avenue. The damage is estimated at $1,050.00.
