(Pottawattamie Co.) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing an agreement between Pottawattamie County Secondary Roads and the Iowa Department of Transportation for a Living Roadway Trust Fund grant.
County Engineer Andy Wicks said the department reviews grant opportunities each year to improve its roadside management program.
Wicks said the wood chipper will cost approximately $65,000, and the remaining funds are available in his budget.
The only other business on the agenda was a request for county funding for flu shots for part-time employees, which the board approved.
