(Sponsored) Iowans are facing serious choices about the direction of our state. Iowa has a deficit of more than $1 billion, reserve funds are being depleted, public schools rank 27th nationally, and $329 million in public tax dollars has been directed to private school education. At the same time, funding for water quality monitoring has been cut, while Iowa’s cancer rates continue to rise. Cass County has the highest cancer rate in Iowa.
Amendment 1 would further limit legislators’ ability to address the state’s finances. If you want your tax dollars invested in public schools, responsible state finances, and cleaner water, vote NO on Amendment 1 and support Tripp Narup for the Iowa House, James Uhlenkamp for the Iowa Senate, and Chris Jones for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture.
