(Adams Co.) The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says dispatch took a report of an explosion at the Industrial Park (2248 Avenue of Industries) in Corning at 2:18 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, a witness stated that a transformer exploded in the power plant located along Highway 34. No injuries were reported.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, CHI Health in Corning, Adams County Ambulance, Taylor County Ambulance, Corning Fire Department, and Adams County EMA.
