(Bremer County) One person died and another suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident in Bremer County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 7:34 p.m. on Sunday evening near the 224-mile marker on Highway 20. Authorities did not release the name of the person who died from injuries in the crash. The injured person is identified as 23-year-old Abby Hamann from Grundy Center.
According to the report, an eastbound 2017 Nissan Rogue crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2025 Chevy Equinox driven by 23-year-old Abby Hamann.
The driver of the Nissan died from injuries in the crash. Sartori Ambulance transported Hamann to Mercy One Hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office, Waterloo Police Department, Cedar Falls Police Department, Covenant Ambulance, and Sartori Ambulance.
