Teen Suffers Serious Injuries in Eastern Iowa Crash

(Dubuque County) A teen was airlifted to a local hospital following a single-vehicle accident in Dubuque County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 6:34 on Friday morning at Derby-Grange Road and Hales Mills Road. Authorities say 15-year-old Cashtin Stanleigh Reisner of Dubuque suffered injuries in the crash.

According to the report, Reisner was driving a 2015 Chevy Traverse southbound on Hales Road when it failed to negotiate a curve at Derby-Grange Road. The vehicle struck a guard rail on the west side of the road and came to rest.

Asbury Ambulance transported Reisner to Mercy One Hospital in Dubuque.
