(Council Bluffs) The Council Bluffs Police Department is investigating a shooting on Monday evening.
Police Officers and medics were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Damon Street in Council Bluffs at around 9:26 p.m., where Officers located a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The Council Bluffs Fire Department transported the male to a local hospital and later transferred him to the Children’s Hospital in Omaha. The injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Authorities are not releasing any further information about the victim or any possible suspects, as the Council Bluffs Police Department Criminal Detectives are in the early stages of the investigation.
