(Adair Co.) The Adair County Board of Supervisors temporarily assigned County Auditor duties to Auditor Deputy Timber Woosley during their meeting Tuesday morning.
The action follows the resignation of Adair County Auditor Mandy Berg, who was set to resign effective June 4. Supervisors previously approved a motion to appoint a new county auditor on June 17.
Until that appointment is made, Woosley will temporarily handle the duties of the auditor’s office. The board approved the temporary assignment during the June 9 meeting.
The move allows county auditor operations to continue during the transition period.
