(Boone, IA — The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released the golf post season assignments.
In Class 3A, Atlantic will have to travel all the way to Knoxville to compete in Sectionals along with Carlisle, Chariton, Creston, Glenwood, Winterset and the host Panthers — it will be at Pine Knolls Golf Club on Wednesday, May 13 at 10 am. Atlantic Golf & Country Club will host the District Meet on Monday, May 18 starting at 10 am.
Class 3A assignments: 3A_2026_Sectional-and-District-Golf-Assignments
In Class 2A, Red Oak will be a host school for Sectionals with MMCRU, Missouri Valley, Riverside, Shenandoah, Treynor, Tri Center and Underwood while Clarinda will also host a Sectional tournament with Central Decatur, Grand View Christian, Interstate 35, Nodaway Valley, Panorama, Van Meter and West Central Valley. Both sectionals will send teams and individuals to the District meet at Shenandoah.

In Class 1A, Dunlap Golf Club will host a Sectional Tournament with AHSTW, Boyer Valley, East Mills, Griswold, Heartland Christian, St. Albert and Woodbine. Sidney will host a Sectional Tournament with Bedford, Essex, Fremont Mills, Hamburg, Lenox and Southwest Valley. Both Dunlap and Sidney will go to the District meet at Council Bluff Country Club. Crestwood Hills Golf Course will host a 1A Sectional Tournament with the host school CAM plus AC/GC, Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard, Earlham, Exira EHK and IKM Manning. The District meet will be Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
