(West Des Moines, IA) – With us jumping into the second week of the softball season, the IGHSAU has released its week two rankings for the 2024 softball season. These rankings are compiled by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The local teams in Class 1A feature Martensdale-St Marys in first, Earlham in eighth, and Griswold in 12th. For Class 2A teams, Van Meter ranks in first, Missouri Valley comes in fifth, and Interstate-35 ranks seventh. In Class 3A, Clarinda sits at 11th and Atlantic comes in right in front, sitting in tenth. Jumping over to Class 4A, North Polk sits in first, Carlisle has been put at fifth, Winterset ranks at sixth, and ADM finishes us off in tenth.
