(Jefferson, IA) – The ACGC Chargers boy’s track and field team earned first place at the Ram Relays on Monday night, winning with a total of 112 team points. On the girl’s side, the Chargers finished with a total of 47 team points.

The boy’s team featured multiple top finishers including Eli Madsen (11.93) in the 100m dash in third place overall, Anthony Solorzano (12.02) in fourth, and Brexton Schneider (12.13) in sixth. In the 200m dash, Eli Madsen earned second (23.33) and Lance Bunde in fourth (23.51). Jumping to the 400m dash, Andrew Mahaffey earned second (54.99) while in the 800m run, the Chargers featured Andrew Mahaffey in second (2:11.08). Mahaffey came up again in the 1600m run while finishing in second (4:42.45). In the 110m hurdles, the Chargers finished the top two runners with Treyton Schneider finishing first (15.74) and Brexton Schneider finishing second (16.88) while in the 400m hurdles, Tate Fever finished in fourth (59.88). In the shot put, ACGC featured Payton Jacobe in third (46-09.75), both Mason Wahl (119-05) and Mike Fuller (119-02) finished in fifth and sixth.
In the team events, ACGC finished first in the 4x100m relay (44.82), the 800m medley relay (1:38.87), and first in the 4x110m shuttle hurdle relay (1:01.92).
On the other side in the girl’s results, the Chargers featured Ava Campbell in first place in the 800m run (2:23.40). In the team results, the Chargers were featured second in the 1600m medley relay (4:54.89), fourth in the 4x400m relay (4:37.53), and fourth in the 800 medley relay (2:05.04).
