(Atlantic) Juniors Morgan Botos and Jersey Phippen and sophomores Lila Wiederstein and Jacie Reed are featured today in our Atlantic Girls’ Track preview. Atlantic Head Coach Matt Mullenix opened practice to the media on March 7.
Morgan Botos is coming off a solid sophomore season, with a state medal in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay.
Sprinter Jersey Phippen returns to the team this season with much promise.
Lila Wiederstein is a sprinter and potentially a 400-meter runner this season. The Sophomore is also a prospect to score consistently in the Long Jump.
Jacie Reed, state medalist, returns as the team’s top hurdler. The Sophomore is off to a great start to the season. Reed finished second last week in the 60-meter hurdles at the IATC Indoor Championships in Ames.
Atlantic travels to Northwest Missouri State University this weekend for an Indoor meet.
