(Des Moines) Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds wants Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to become the next president of the United States.
Reynolds endorsed DeSantis during a rally Monday in Des Moines. He says America needs someone to put the country first and not themselves. DeSantis is fighting against former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley for second place in Iowa. Donald Trump is in first place with 43 percent of the vote.
Ron DeSantis is the 46th Governor of Florida. He entered politics in 2012, winning a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida’s 6th district.
Kim Reynolds is the 43rd Governor of Iowa, serving since 2017. Before being elected Governor, she was Lt. Governor from 2011-2017.
