(Harlan) The 2023 Harlan football team will set out to make a name for themselves after back-to-back Class 3A State titles. The Cyclones are 36-2 over the last three years and notched the program’s 14th State Championship last fall.
Coach Bladt says what they do have returning is a lot of players determined to put their best foot forward on Friday night.

The Cyclones face another traditionally strong opponent tonight, Lewis Central. The Titans have appeared in back-to-back Class 4A State Title games, winning a championship two years ago.
Coach Bladt says getting lined up is the number one key: alignment on defense, limiting turnovers, and moving the ball effectively with the run game to open the passing game is the goal on Friday night.
Will Arkfeld takes over at quarterback for Teagon Kasperbauer, who finished off a three-year career accruing 109 touchdown passes, second all-time. Coach Bladt looks forward to seeing what Arkfeld can do on the field.
