Rockwell City Man Charged With Murder, Attempted Murder Following Fatal UTV Crash

(Rockwell City, IA)  —   An Iowa man is facing murder and attempted murder charges following a deadly UTV crash in Rockwell City.

According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on April 12 when a pickup truck collided with a UTV.  19-year-old Kyle Rath was killed in the crash, while 21-year-old Roger King suffered serious injuries.

Authorities say the driver of the pickup, 21-year-old Jaxyn Blum, has now been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the incident.
