(Polk County, IA) A trial is underway for a Des Moines man who is accused of stabbing his girlfriend earlier this year. Clarence Reed’s trial started yesterday. It is a bench trial so that a judge will decide his verdict. Police said they found Randi Light with multiple stab wounds inside their apartment. Court documents say Reed called 911 after the attack, claiming he blacked out.
