(Atlantic) The Atlantic Volleyball team opens the season on Thursday at Des Moines, Roosevelt. The Trojans field an entirely new starting lineup after losing eight players to graduation one year ago.
Atlantic Head Coach Michelle Blake says the pieces and how they will fit have been put together.
Coach Blake is going with the 6-2 lineup again this season.
Coach Blake says Makayla Atkinson in the back row and Jersey Phippen at Libero will see action.
The Trojans travel to Des Moines, Roosevelt on Thursday starting at 7:15 p.m., the AHSTW Tournament on Saturday, August 26, and host Red Oak in the Hawkeye Ten Conference season opener on Tuesday, August 29.
