(Iowa City) An Iowa mother, accused of helping her son flee the county after stealing 20-thousand dollar earrings, asks for her bond to be lowered. Nineteen-year-old Ali Younes was out on bond after being charged with attacking a woman on the University of Iowa campus and stealing her earrings. Police say his parents, Lima and Alfred, cut off his GPS-monitoring ankle bracelet and drove him to Chicago, where he flew to Jordan. Lima is asking for her bond to be lower from 25 thousand dollars.
