(Atlantic) The Atlantic girls’ softball team opens the 2023 season at Lenox tonight. The Trojans enter regular season play on the heels of a 24-15 record a year ago, including a disappointing loss to Williamsburg in the Regional Finals.
Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann says he is fielding a young team again this season.
The Trojans have depth in the circle, including veteran freshman Zoey Kirchhoff and junior Riley Wood.
Two other throwers have caught the attention of the Coaching Staff.
Coach Hinzmann says Lenox graduated just one senior from one year ago.
The first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
