(Des Moines) Fifteen Iowa school districts are getting more than 11 million dollars in federal funds to replace 32 buses with electric models. It’s part of the Clean School Bus Program, funded by the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The money is from the first round of funding. State Auditor Rob Sand encourages Iowa schools to apply for the second round of funding, which will dole out around 400 million dollars to districts nationwide.
