(Atlantic) Dalton Franken has been hired as Atlantic’s Head Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach. Franken has been a volunteer assistant for four years and became a paid assistant as the J.V. coach this past season.
A 2013 Atlantic graduate, Coach Franken scored 1,404 points during his four-year varsity career. He took his talents to Dordt University and scored 1,165 points.
Franken is looking forward to the opportunity.
Coach Franken says coaching grew on him after his playing days at Dordt University were over.
Coach Franken has two expectations for his players.
Coach Franken succeeds Derek Hall, who resigned following the 2022-2023 seasons.
