(Glenwood) The Glenwood boy’s track team won five events and won the team title at their home meet on Monday. Lewis Central won three events and finished second. Atlantic posted one win, and two seconds, and notched the third-place finish in the field of 11 teams.

Brendan Monahan of St. Albert won the 100 and 200 Meters in (11.12), and (22.80) respectively. Jack Kling of Red Oak topped the field in the 400 Meters in a time of (52.05), and Titus Steng of Shenandoah won the 101, 201, and 401 Yard Wheel Chair events. Andrew Smith, of Glenwood, led the competitors in the 800 Meters (2:00.07), Bryant Keller of Glenwood won the 1600 Meters, (4:34.17), and Collin Lillie of St. Albert outdistanced the pack in the 3200 Meters in a time of (9:31.86).
Anthony Driscoll Lee of Glenwood won the 110 Meter Meter Hurdles in (15.22), and Jackson McLaren and Colton Rasmussen of Atlantic ran second and third in times of (15.71), and (16.29). Karson Elwood of Treynor won the 400 Meter Hurdles in a time of (57.75). Aidan Bergman of Lewis Central clocked a (58.36) for second, Victor Atupra of Tee Jay was third in a time of (59.21), and Jayden Cox of Atlantic ran fourth in (1:00.06).
In the Relays; Lewis Central won the 4×100 in (43.92), and Treynor finished second in (43.95). Shenandoah won the 4×200 in (1:32.08), Glenwood won the 4×400 (3:29.93), Lewis Central finished second (3:30.35), and the quad of Tyson O’Brien, Bennett Whetstone, Caden Andersen, and Carter Pellett of Atlantic ran third in a season-best (3:31.71). Lewis Central ran (8:22.97) to win the 4×800, and Shenandoah topped the 13-team field in the 800 Sprint Medley in (1:35.24). Creston finished first in the Distance Medley Relay (3:43.91). Treynor ran (1:01.57) and won the Shuttle Hurdle Relay, Glenwood finished second in (1:04.74), and Jackson McLaren, Colton Rasmussen, Alex Keiser, and Easton O’Brien of Atlantic finished third in a season-best time of (1:04.87).
In the field events, Jayden Proehl, and Colton Rasmussen of Atlantic finished one-two in the High Jump. Proehl cleared (6-00.00), and Rasmussen, (5-10.00). Anthony Driscoll-Lee of Glenwood won the Long Jump (20-00.50), Parker Matiyow of Lewis Central threw (52-00.50) and won the Shot Put, and Tyler Laughlin of Shenandoah heaved the discus (165-03) for the win.
