(Atlantic) Atlantic senior Lexi Noelck signed on to play volleyball for Wartburg College this fall. Noelck, a three-year starter for the Trojans, earned first-team all-conference honors this past season and left the program with 904 total assists, 348 kills, and .219 kill efficiency. Noelck spent the last two seasons as a setter-hitter for Head Coach Michelle Blake and the Trojans.
Lexi Knoelck knew she wanted to play at the next level for quite some time, so she started looking at different college programs about one year ago.
Noelck says Wartburg has had a solid program for the last few years. However, they graduated many players, and the program is transitioning into a rebuild.
Noelck says she will continue to train this spring and summer and attend summer camps at Wartburg this summer in preparation for the upcoming season.
The other schools Noelck considered were Grand View, Buena Vista, and Simpson.
Noelck is unsure about her future studies, although she mentioned pre-law and Criminal Justice as a couple of options.
